March 3rd 2008 - Anna Järvinen returns to Finland

Anna Järvinen will melt more hearts during the spring in Finland. Anna will visit YLE TV2’s talk show Inhimillinen tekijä on March 5th at 10.05 PM (re-run March 11th at 2.55 PM.) The subject of the program is the life of Finnish immigrants in Sweden – a theme which has effected Anna’s music a lot, too.

Anna will also tour in Finland April 9th - 12th. Anna and her band will stop in Tampere (Klubi), Helsinki (Tavastia), Jyväskylä (Jyrock / Ilokivi) and Turku (Klubi). One can hear more Anna’s uniquely beautiful music in the summer when she will play for instance in Ruisrock, Turku.

Ruisrock is getting even more guest from Sweden when The Ark will play their only summer gig in Finland in Turku.

February 28th 2008 - Daisy hit the album chart!

All the good things come to those who wait! Daisy’s luck has turned! Their second album It’s About Time hit the Official Finnish Album Chart yesterday. With 22nd position on the album chart in their pocket the band also gained play list placement in YleX with Heartbeat single.

And there is more goodies for Turku band. Daisy will travel to UK on May. The band will play 2 gigs in Liverpool May 23rd and 24th!

January 23rd 2008 - Daisy is back!

After 4 and a half years of difficulties Daisy is back on the spotlight! Finland’s unluckiest band will release their second album It´s About Time February 20th. The band has also signed a new booking deal with Welldone Agency.

One must say that these 5 guys from Turku truly have guts. The band has actually recorded It’s About Time already 3 times! First the material was destroyed when studio’s computer broke down. Then their rehersal place / studio burnt in a fire - yes, so did the album. After that Daisy decided they won’t record the same songs for the 3rd time, composed dozens of new songs and went to the studio with Knipi from Egotrippi.

First single release Heartbeat has gained lots of radio play and Daisy will celebrate It’s About Time February 23rd in Turku at Dynamo.

December 21st 2007 - Anna Järvinen @ Bettina S on X-mas eve!

Anna Järvinen visits talk show Bettina S (channel FST5) on christmas eve. So switch on your telly December 24th at 9 PM (EET) and you can see and hear the beautiful appearence of Anna and pianist Andreas Stellan (The Works). You can watch the show again on December 25th at 4.20 (EET) at the same channel.

December 5th 2007 - The Ark & Anna Järvinen nominated for Grammis!

The Swedish acts of Fallen Angel Promotion are doing pretty well in their home country. Both The Ark and Anna Järvinen got nominations in Grammis 2007 which is Swedish Grammy-gala. The Ark got 5 nominations and Anna Järvinen 4. Grammis-gala is held in Stockholm, Sweden January 9th 2008 at Globen Arena.

The Ark’s singer Ola Salo and Anna Järvinen are both aiming Grammis in categories "Music composer" and "Lyric composer" for their albums Prayer For The Weekend and Jag fick feeling. The Ark is also nominated in categories "Group of the year", Prayer For The Weekend in "Album of the year" and their ESC-song The Worrying Kind in "Song of the year" Anna Järvinen is nominated in categories "Female artist of the year" and "New comer of the year".
